Dr Harald Schäfer
Dr Harald Schäfer is together with his brother chairman of the company. After graduating from secondary school as the best of his age-group, Dr Schäfer studied business administration and law at the German University of Mannheim (Germany’s leading university for business studies) and, after receiving his degree, went on to earn his doctorate. While studying, Dr Schäfer was providing consulting services to businesses. After a sojourn in the United States Dr Schäfer worked on his first own real estate project “Public storage” in 1991. Between 1994 and 2003, he was responsible for the European expansion of the largest purchasing services company in Europe with more than 100 subsidiaries.
Since 1989, he has been presenting specialist seminars in business administration at the University of Mannheim, given talks at conventions and trade fairs and worked as a lecturer at various universities. Moreover, he is an author of various manuals and specialist essays.
Besides being executive director and board member, he is also an associate member of the Business Angels Panel.

Dr Burkhard Schäfer
Dr Burkhard Schäfer started his business career while he was studying business administration and law at the University of Mannheim (Germany’s leading university for business studies). At the same time, Dr Schäfer was an active member and a personnel officer of the "Arbeitskreis Börse" (working committee for stock exchange affairs) at the University of Mannheim. To complement his stu-dies at the university, he worked with the "Deutsche Bank", among other things in the financial department for real estate, as well as with several service companies. After receiving his degree, he traveled over the USA doing market research. Afterwards, he started working on his doctorate. Between 1991 and 2001 he was as managing director responsible for the selection of suitable real estate objects for a huge international sales company. Dr Schäfer supervised for a long time a large real estate portfolio and gathered a lot of experience as real estate developer. He is expert in marketing of huge real estate objects in the field of residential and commercial properties.
He has an international perspective, based in part upon his overseas experience. Dr Burkhard Schäfer is a well-known speaker at the IHK (Chamber of Commerce and Industry), federal associations, lecturer at several universities and since 1989, he has been teaching at the University of Mannheim.
